Stanford has earned a No. 24 ranking according to USA Softball

STANFORD, Calif. - After earning its first Pac-12 series win since 2013 last weekend at California, Stanford has re-entered the national rankings this week, checking in at No. 24 according to the latest ESPN.com/USA Softball poll. The Card had previously been tabbed the No. 22 team in the nation according to Softball America on March 5 of this season.

Stanford was last ranked according to USA Softball on April 1, 2014 when it was No. 24 in the nation. Stanford is also receiving votes this week in the USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll – marking the fifth consecutive week that the Cardinal has at least received votes in a major poll.

The Cardinal is preparing to welcome Saint Mary's to campus on Wednesday for a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. Stanford will then host Oregon in a three-game Pac-12 series beginning on Friday at 7 p.m.
