Dunning On Suiter: Lizzie had such a good sophomore year that everyone's expectations were very high for another great season, but multiple injuries limited her. She has worked very hard since then and is ready to play the best volleyball of her life."
2006 Season (Senior):Played in 29 games in her final season for the Cardinal ... Missed the first half of the season due to injury ... Collected 25 kills with a .279 hitting percentage, as well as 27 blocks to average 0.93 blocks per game ... Recorded two kills and two blocks in the Cardinal's three-game sweep of California (12/8) in the regional semifinal ... The next night, added one kill and four blocks, including two block solos, as the Cardinal defeated Texas (12/9) in the regional final to advance to the Final Four ... In the first round of the NCAA Tournament, tallied four kills and four blocks as Stanford swept Sacramento State (12/2) ... In just her sixth match back in action, tallied a season-high six kills and a season-high six blocks in a four-game victory over UCLA (11/11) ... Hit a season-high .556 at Oregon State (11/17) with five kills and two blocks ... Also hit .429 on Senior Night against Washington State with three kills and a block.
2005 Season (Junior): Bothered with an ankle and eye injury that limited her to just 18 matches (45 games) Had a season-high eight blocks in the Pac-10 season opener against USC (9/23/05), and against nationally-ranked Arizona (11/11/05) Had her best match of the season with six kills (.333) along with four blocks against Oregon State (10/28/05) Named a First-Team Pac-10 All-Academic selection.
