McCall to Attend WNBA Draft

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford forward Erica McCall will attend WNBA Draft 2017 presented by State Farm on Thursday, April 13 at Samsung 837 in New York the league announced this morning.
 
ESPN2 will provide coverage and analysis of the first round beginning at 4 p.m. PT, and ESPNU will air coverage of the second and third rounds starting at 5 p.m. PT.  Coverage will also stream live on WatchESPN and the ESPN app.
 
Named an honorable mention All-American by both the Associated Press and the WBCA, McCall completed her standout collegiate career at last weekend's Final Four in Dallas. In her four years on The Farm, the two-time All-Pac-12 performer led Stanford to a pair of Final Fours, three Elite Eights, three Pac-12 championships and a 118-28 overall record.
 
The senior averaged team highs in points (14.4), rebounds (9.0) and blocks (1.7) this season, scored in double figures in 31 games and had 10 or more rebounds 17 times. She was named the Most Outstanding Player at the Pac-12 Tournament after averaging 11.0 points, 10.7 rebounds and 3.0 blocks in Stanford's three wins and was just as good in the NCAA Tournament, putting up 13.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game.
 
McCall's career totals of 1,376 points, 976 rebounds and 200 blocks make her one of six players in Pac-12 history with 1,350/950/200. On March 1, she was named to the 2016-17 CoSIDA Academic All-American Division I second team to become the eighth academic All-American in program history.
 
Stanford has had 24 players selected in the WNBA Draft and 10 in the past 10 seasons.
