STANFORD, Calif. – Add Baylor to Stanford's already-challenging nonconference schedule. A Dec. 3 trip to Waco is part of the Cardinal's pre-Pac-12 slate, which was announced on Thursday.
 
Tip times and complete broadcast information along with Stanford's Pac-12 schedule will be released in the coming weeks once all television arrangements have been finalized. Season tickets for the 2017-18 campaign are on sale now and fans can also place $50 deposits for mini plans by visiting gostanford.com/tickets or calling 800-STANFORD.
 
Stanford will also play a true road game at Ohio State (Nov. 10), a neutral-site contest against UConn (Nov. 12) and a home game against Tennessee (Dec. 21) – all of which have been previously announced.
 
The Cardinal's season starts with a home exhibition against UC San Diego on Nov. 4 before its heads to Columbus for dates with the Buckeyes and Huskies. UC Riverside (Nov. 17) and CSU Bakersfield (Nov. 19) will be in Maples Pavilion the following weekend and Stanford's Thanksgiving tournament will take the Cardinal to Las Vegas for the Play4Kay Showcase at Mandalay Bay from Nov. 23-25. Specific opponents and tip times will be announced for that event at a later date.
 
Stanford will make the drive north to play at San Francisco on Wednesday, Nov. 29. Tara VanDerveer won her 800th career game on Dec. 22, 2010 in the Cardinal's last trip to War Memorial Gymnasium.  
 
Home games against UNLV (Dec. 16) and Western Illinois (Dec. 18) follow Stanford's game at Baylor (Dec. 3) and the Cardinal will host the Lady Vols on Thursday, Dec. 21 to close out the nonconference portion of its schedule.
 
Ohio State, Baylor and San Francisco will make return trips to The Farm in the 2018-19 season.
 
On Tuesday, season ticket members will have access to additional discounted single-game nonconference tickets.
 
Stanford is coming off a 32-6 season that included its 13th Final Four appearance and 12th Pac-12 Tournament championship.
