LAWRENCE, Kan. -- No. 12 Stanford added two more shutout wins on Friday over South Dakota State (6-0) and Kansas (9-0, 5 Inn.) to extend their win streak to 20 and the shutout streak to eight.

Krause (5-1) went the distance for Stanford against the Jack Rabbits giving up three hits, walking one and striking out four. Canady (8-0) started and picked up the win for Stanford (22-2) against the Jayhawks, going four shutout innings while giving up two hits, walking none, and striking out 10. Boyd came in to start the fifth, going one shutout inning, allowing one hit, walking none and striking out one.

In the batter's box in game one, the Cardinal was paced by junior Caelan Koch, who went 2-for-4 on the day with a home run and four RBI. Senior Taylor Gindlesperger had a standout performance at the plate as well, going 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and an RBI. Freshman River Mahler also contributed for Stanford, putting together two hits in three trips to the plate while adding a walk and an RBI.

At the plate against Kansas, the Cardinal was led by senior Emily Schultz, who went 2-for-3 on the day with a double and four RBI. Junior Aly Kaneshiro put together a standout day at the plate as well with a double and two RBI. Freshman Emily Jones also chipped in for Stanford, putting together one hit in one trip to the plate while adding a walk and an RBI.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Cardinal got on the board in the fifth with five runs, starting with an RBI triple from Gindlesperger. Mahler tacked another run in the next at bat, and Koch went yard to add three more.

The Cardinal also added a run in the sixth inning off the bat of Koch to wrap up the scoring.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Cardinal took the lead in the second, scoring twice on a two-run double off the bat of Schultz.

Stanford then tacked on runs in the fourth inning when added seven runs. All three Emilys on the roster drove in a run in the fourth, with Schultz bringing in two. Gindlesperger and Kaneshiro also tallied RBIs to give the Cardinal a 9-0 advantage in the run-rule win
