QUICK STICKS
- No. 13 Stanford hits the road for its second road-ACC matchup of the 2025 season, this time just across the bay to Berkeley, Calif. Feb. 7, to take on the Golden Bears.
- The 2025 Big Meet is scheduled for a 7 p.m. PT start and will be streamed on ACC Network Extra with Tim Swartz and Evan Heiter on the call. Live scoring can be found on Virtius.
- Led by a season-best team total, No. 15 Stanford took down No. 23 North Carolina 197.250-195.775 inside Maples Pavilion Friday, Jan. 31. The Cardinal swept all individual event titles, as junior Anna Roberts secured her third consecutive all-around and bars top finishes and added the top score on vault. Sophomore Sienna Robinson brought home the beam and floor titles, her second and third event wins of the year.
- Robinson was named ACC Specialist of the Week for the second time this season after shining on both beam and floor against the Tarheels, collecting her second and third event titles of the year in the win over UNC. On beam, she matched her career-high score of 9.950, making her one of only three conference gymnasts to score a 9.950 on the event this season (Brenna Neault; Abbey Scanlon, Cal). In the same meet, she earned her second floor title of the year with an event-best 9.900 (no other gymnast scored in the 9.900 range). She ranks as the tied-for-second-best floor worker in the ACC, averaging a score of 9.875 in her four floor routines in 2025. Robinson has hit on every routine this season on both events and has yet to score below a 9.825.
- A Stanford gymnast ranks in the top two of the conference on all four events. Anna Roberts (Vault, 1st; Bars, 2nd) and Sienna Robinson (Beam, 2nd; Floor, tied-for-2nd) are the only two conference gymnasts to hold more than one top-two ranking on an apparatus through five weeks of the 2025 season.
- Friday marks a new chapter of the storied rivalry between the Cardinal and Golden Bears-- head-to-head competition as ACC members. Dating back to 1996, Stanford holds a 45-29 head-to-head record against California (including all meets both teams competed in at the same time). The Cardinal's last victory of any kind over California was on March 18, 2017 at the Pac-12 Championship, 196.625-196.300, as Stanford finished 5th at the conference championship while Cal placed 6th. The Cardinal's last dual-meet victory over the Golden Bears was on March 3, 2014 (196.750-196.025). All time, Stanford holds a 84-50-1 when competing against California.
- Through four outings, Stanford gymnasts have secured 16 of 20 possible (includes all-around) individual event titles (includes ties).
