STANFORD, Calif. – Sophomore right-handed pitcher Jack Little was named first-team All-America by D1 Baseball, Perfect Game and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), as announced Wednesday.
Little's 16 saves ties for third in the NCAA and leads the Pac-12, tying Colton Hock (2017) for the single-season program record. In 45.1 innings across 25 relief appearances, Little (3-0) accrued an 0.60 earned-run average and a .167 opposing batting average. Surrendering just 38 base runners, he struck out 58 while issuing eight walks.
Ten of Little's saves were 1.2 innings or more, while five were 3.0 or more. He earned the win and struck out the final four batters in Stanford's dramatic, 6-5 win at Washington on May 26, which clinched the Cardinal's first Pac-12 conference championship since 2004.

Little adds to his collection of postseason honors after earning first-team All-America honors from Baseball America, an All-Pac-12 selection and NCBWA's District 9 Player of the Year. Stanford ranks second in Division I in ERA (2.83) and third in WHIP (1.14). The Cardinal's 23 saves tied a program record, with its .793 winning percentage ranking second, all-time.
