Six All-MPSF Honorees

Taylor Burkhart and Asher Hong lead the Cardinal with three selections each

STANFORD, Calif. - Six Cardinal gymnasts earned a total of ten Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) all-conference honors, as announced by the MPSF office on Monday morning.

The top performing gymnast from each school in each event at the MPSF Championships earned automatic all-conference selections, along with one additional at-large selection per event based on the highest-scoring gymnast remaining, regardless of team.

Taylor Burkhart and Asher Hong led Stanford with three honors each, while Jeremy Bischoff, Brandon Nguyen, Colt Walker, and Khoi Young earned one selection.

Burkhart, the MPSF Gymnast of the Year, won the floor exercise title with a 14.350 for his first career individual conference title, adding two more podium finishes on vault (2nd - 14.200) and high bar (T-3rd - 13.850). It is the senior's second consecutive season being named to the All-MPSF team, after earning conference honors on vault in 2023.

Hong earned multiple All-MPSF honors for the second time in his career, receiving recognition on floor exercise, still rings, and vault to bring the Tomball, Texas native to six career all-conference nods. The junior won the still rings title for the second year in a row after a 14.800 routine, adding a 14.200 routine on floor exercise to finish in a tie for second and with a third-place vault score of 14.150.

Brandon Nguyen (high bar), Colt Walker (parallel bars), and Khoi Young (pommel horse) each finished as conference runner-up to earn their All-MPSF bids, while Jeremy Bischoff finished tied for third on parallel bars to earn his second career all-conference selection.

Stanford is set to finish out the 2025 season at the NCAA Championships from April 19-20 in Ann Arbor, Mich., as it looks to become the first program in NCAA history to win six consecutive national titles.
