- Top-seeded Stanford women’s golf looks to defend its NCAA title at the 2025 NCAA Championship, hosted by the University of Texas, from May 16-21.
- The NCAA Championship takes place at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., for the second consecutive year. It plays at 6,330 yards and is a par-72.
- All participating teams will compete in 54 holes of stroke play before the field narrows down to 15 teams for an additional 18 holes of stroke play on Monday, May 19. The top eight teams will then compete in match play to determine the national champion.
- Golf Channel will provide live coverage during the final round of stroke play and during all three rounds of match play.
- The Cardinal has advanced to the NCAA Championship every year since 2010 and is the only program in the country to advance to the match play portion every year since it was instituted nine years ago (2015).
- The top 14 teams in the most recent Scoreboard rankings, powered by Clippd, advanced to the final site in Carlsbad. The highest-ranked team that failed to advance is No. 15 North Carolina.

- 2025 is the third consecutive season that Stanford enters the NCAA Championship as the top overall seed.
- Stanford won the NCAA Norman Regional, capturing its seventh regional win since 2016, the most in the country.
- Stanford won the Norman Regional by nine strokes over Northwestern. Only two of Stanford’s seven stroke-play wins this season have been by fewer than eight strokes.
- Andrea Revuelta continues her late-season surge by winning individual medalist honors at the Norman Regional. It is her second consecutive tournament win, the first two of her collegiate career.
- She is the fifth Cardinal to win an NCAA Regional and the third freshman.
