Personal

• Daughter of Johnny and Beth Garcia
• Has two siblings, Eileen and Elizabeth
• Sister, Eileen, competed on the diving team at Clark University and was a six-time All-American, three-time NEWMAC 3m champion and two-time NEWMAC 1m champion
• Sister, Elizabeth, competed for the gymnastics team at Maryland
• National Latin Exam Gold Medalist in Latin II and III
• First graduate from Nest+m to attend Stanford
• Smile Train volunteer – raised money and awareness for Smile Train, which travels to third world countries to surgically repair children’s cleft lips and palates for free
• Manhattan Kid’s Club volunteer – interacts with children ages three months to 5-years-old
• Plays multiple instruments, including the flute, piccolo and saxophone
