All-Academic Honors to 33

STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford placed 33 on the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic team for indoor track and field – 20 women and 13 men.

Among them were nine who also earned All-America honors, including the complete distance medley relay teams that competed at the NCAA Championships.

The women's DMR finished second at nationals, with Vanessa Fraser (3.51 cumulative grade-point average) leading off and followed by Missy Mongiovi (3.67), Malika Waschmann (3.61), and anchored by Elise Cranny (3.92).

The men's DMR consisted of Tai Dinger, Jackson Shumway, Jack Keelan, and Brian Smith – all All-Academic selections.

Olivia Baker, an NCAA finalist and repeat MPSF champion in the 800, also was named to the All-Academic team.
