Four CSC Academic All-Americans

It is the first time that four Cardinal have been named Academic All-Americans in program history

STANFORD, Calif. - Lucy Bell, Caroline Bricker, Torri Huske, and Aurora Roghair were each named 2024-2025 Academic All-Americans on Tuesday morning, as announced by the College Sports Communications (CSC).

It is the first time that four student-athletes have earned Academic All-America honors in the same season, pushing Stanford to 25 CSC All-Americans in program history. All four Cardinal honorees are first-time Academic All-America selections.

Huske nabbed first team honors after winning her first NCAA individual title in 200 IM last month. She also reached the podium in six other events, becoming a 21-time All-American in her decorated collegiate career. The three-time Olympic Gold medalist also won three ACC titles in the 100 fly, 200 IM, and 200 Medley Relay.

Roghair also earned a first team selection after winning the 800 free relay at the NCAA Championships, while also finishing as the national runner-up in the 500 free and 1650 free. A three-time 1650 free conference champion, Roghair is the program’s first-ever Elite 90 recipient and is a three-time CSCAA Scholar All-American.

Bell, a Fort Collins, Colo., native, picked up second team honors after winning her first career national title in the 200 breast. A nine-time NCAA All-American, Bell broke the school record during her title-winning swim and ranks in the Stanford Top-10 in five different events.

Bricker was also a second team selection after winning two national championships of her own in the 400 IM and 800 Free Relay. The sophomore is a six-time NCAA All-American and boasts a Stanford Top-10 time in six different events.
