As a Sophomore (2021-22)

  • 5 seat in the Cardinal’s V8 boat that competed at the San Diego Crew Classic to open the season
As a Freshman (2020-21)
  • Rowed in the bow in the varsity eight against Saint Mary’s and San Diego, and stroked the varsity four against Saint Mary’s
  • 5 seat at the Big Row in the lightweight team’s win over Cal’s openweight 4V8
  • Helped Stanford to a sweep of UC San Diego as the bow with the varsity eight

International Competition

  • Represented the U.S. in the triathlon at the 2017 North American CAMTRI Championships among junior women

Prior to Stanford

  • Results at the USA Triathlon national championships: 2015 (35th), 2016 (21rd), 2017 (14th)
  • Ranked nationally and internationally in her age group in the triathlon
  • Competed in cross country for Northside College Prep
  • Won two Chicago city team titles in cross country and two USATF national junior team titles
  • Competed in two seasons of track and field at Northside
  • Made the Illinois state open water swimming and Illinois Zones championship team three times
  • Held a 10-year streak of making the Illinois Regional championship team in swimming
  • In cyclocross, was the 2017 Illinois state championships silver medalist 
  • Rowed for the Chicago Rowing Foundation in 2017 and 2018
  • Rowed for the Mercantile Rowing Club in in Melbourne, Australia, on a gap year in 2020
  • Took fifth at the 2018 national championships Varsity 8+ for CRF 
  • Won the 2018 Midwest Championships Varsity 8+  
  • First in the 2017 Midwest Championships Novice A and 3V (with Novice boat) 8+ 
  • For the Mercantile Rowing Club, was a 2020 national qualifier in the Open 8+

Personal

  • Parents are Michael and Kelly Zehfuss
  • Has two sisters, Anja and Lily
  • Sister, Anja, rowed for the Stanford openweight team and now rows for University of Oxford
  • •Spent portions of the summers throughout high school working at an orphanage in Oaxaca, Mexico
