REDWOOD CITY, Calif. - Stanford lightweight rowing hosted its final home regatta of the season on Sunday morning, showing strong execution but ultimately falling to Boston in each of the three races in Redwood City
Action began with the double, as the Cardinal pairing crossed the finish line at 8:50.7, 14.3 seconds behind the Boston tandem's time of 8:36.4.
The Terriers also prevailed in the varsity four, clocking a 8:01.86. Stanford came in just under 12 seconds behind at 8:13.63.
Competition wrapped with the 8+, where Boston finished with a 7:02.0 mark, ahead of Stanford's 7:10.2.
Stanford returns to action with the Women's Sprints on May 4 in Worcester, Massachusetts.
