Campbell McClellan

As a Sophomore (2025-26):

  • CRCA Scholar-Athlete
  • Rowed in all eight races with the 8+ in the stroke seat
  • Saw action twice with the 4+ in the stroke seat
  • Rowed as the stroke with the 8+ in a win over Boston University (April 25)
  • Part of bronze medal-winning 8+ at Eastern Sprints (May 3) in the stroke seat
  • Won bronze at IRAs (May 31) in the six seat with the 8+, helping Stanford to fourth place as a team

As a Freshman (2024-25):

  • Appeared in five events for the Cardinal this season
  • Made her collegiate debut in the Varsity 8+ boat at the Head of the Charles, rowing in the No. 1 seat
  • Competed in the double for both home events against Princeton and Wisconsin
  • Finished fifth with the V4+ boat at Women's Sprints (May 4)
  • Raced with the varsity eight at the IRA Championships (June 1)

High School

  • DC National Rowing Club's Most Outstanding Female Rower in 2024
  • DC National Rowing Club women's lightweight 2k record holder
  • Helped qualify the first women's eight in team history for Youth Nationals in 2023

Personal

  • Daughter of Max and Atlantic McClellan
  • Her aunt rowed at Yale
  • Anticipated major is philosophy or economics
  • Also competed in horseback riding, soccer and softball in high school
