Endowed Coachships

Endowments to support coaches and program directors ensure the longevity of our athletics department by helping us recruit and retain world-class leaders as we continue to compete for national championships. A coaching endowment is a source of pride and prestige for a coach while also offering a way for donors to leave their legacy with the program forever. A donor may establish an endowment in their name or in the name of someone who they wish to honor.

Scholarships

Athletics scholarships are the cornerstone of scholar athleticism and the foundation of our success. Investing in an endowed scholarship creates a lasting resource that provides educational support for our student-athletes and the opportunity for future generations to compete at Stanford. Once established, these scholarships exist in perpetuity and are named after the donor or someone of their choosing.

Cardinal Strong

Cardinal Strong is an interdisciplinary initiative that leverages expertise and resources from across the Stanford community to provide our student-athletes with unparalleled support and enable them to realize their significant potential. This holistic approach prioritizes every varsity student-athlete’s comprehensive health and well-being by drawing on four support programs that work in concert: DASH, Applied Sports science and Performance, Sports Nutrition and Sports Medicine. Your investment in this interdisciplinary initiative ensures the individual and collective growth of our student-athletes—on the field, on the Farm, and as leaders in the world.

*Endowment support starts at $250,000 and gifts are payable over a five-year period. To learn more about how to establish an endowment fund with Stanford Athletics, please contact Nikol Frisch at nikol@stanford.edu.
