Martinez Honors Childhood Friend

Blake Martinez wore cleats in support of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital as part of New York's "My Cause My Cleats." His cleats honored his childhood friend, Richard Blau, who passed away at 14 years old from osteosarcoma. Martinez made seven total tackles (five solo) in the Giants' 26-7 win over Arizona on Sunday.

Okereke Playing Well

Seeing the field for the first time in two weeks, Bobby Okereke returned for the Colts. He made six total tackles while adding a QB hurry and a pass defensed in a 44-27 win over the Raiders to improve Indianapolis' playoff chances and keep the Colts in control of the six seed. Okereke finished the game with a season-high 86.6 defense rating according to PFF.

Bailey's Career Day

Jake Bailey had a career day for the Patriots against the Rams, punting six times and averaging 51.7 yards per punt (50.3 net) while pinning the Rams inside the 20 four times and allowing just eight return yards. Bailey's longest punt went for a career-best 71 yards, and was the longest punt for the Patriots since 2001.

DeCastro Shines in Pass Protection

Starting at guard for the eighth-straight week, David DeCastro played all 57 snaps and allowed zero sacks, zero hits and zero hurries on 40 pass block attempts for the Steelers on Sunday Night Football.

Parkinson's First Grabs

Colby Parkinson made the first catches of his NFL career in Seattle's 40-3 win over the Jets. Parkinson made two receptions on two targets for 16 yards, with both of his catches going for first downs.

Schultz Continues to Impress

Dalton Schultz finished third on the Cowboys with three receptions for 34 yards, as Dallas defeated the Bengals, 30-7. Schultz became the fourth tight end in Cowboys history to have 50+ receptions in a season — his 51 receptions through Week 14 sets a new career high.

  • Henry Anderson played 45 snaps on defense for the Jets on Sunday, making five total tackles and collecting a QB hurry.
  • Zach Ertz made two receptions for eight yards in Philadelphia's 24-21 upset win over the Saints.
  • Cameron Fleming made the start at tackle in the Giants' 26-7 win over the Cardinals, playing 38 snaps.
  • Second-year offensive lineman Nate Herbig helped lead the Eagles to a 24-21 upset over the Saints. Earning the start, Herbig played all 69 snaps as Philadelphia didn't allow a sack on the day.
  • In Denver's 32-27 win over the Panthers on Sunday, Alijah Holder saw the field for 24 snaps on special teams while making one tackle. Holder was signed to the Broncos 53-man roster this past week after previously being elevated for four games this season from the Denver practice squad.
  • Peter Kalambayi saw 25 snaps on special teams for the Texans in Sunday's game against the Bears.
  • Quenton Meeks made his season-debut with the Jaguars after signing with the franchise on Monday, seeing four snaps on special teams.
  • Andrus Peat played all 63 snaps for the Saints, earning the start along the offensive line.
  • Despite playing only 16 snaps, Harrison Phillips made four tackles in Buffalo's 26-15 win over the Steelers on Sunday night. 
  • Third-year safety Justin Reid played 49 snaps for the Texans, making four tackles. Reid had one pass defensed and allowed a 40.6 passer rating against his coverage.
  • Jordan Richards played in 27 snaps on special teams for the Ravens in Monday night's 47-42 win over the Browns.
  • Richard Sherman played all 63 snaps for the 49ers against Washington, making two solo tackles and allowing a 39.6 passer rating against his coverage.
  • Kaden Smith made a six-yard reception on his lone target in the Giants 26-7 win over the Cardinals.
  • Levine Toilolo saw 26 total snaps for the Giants – 10 on offense and 16 on special teams – making two tackles.
  • Casey Toohill played seven defensive snaps and managed a QB hit in Washington's 23-15 win over the 49ers.
