Jacob Russell

Jacob Russell joined the Stanford Football staff as a Defensive Graduate Assistant in 2022 and works with the Cardinal inside linebackers. He is in his third season on The Farm in 2024.

Russell comes to Stanford from Georgia, where he was an offensive assistant with the Bulldogs’ tight ends and won a national championship in 2021. Prior to that he was a recruiting analyst with Georgia.

Russell graduated from Harvard with a degree in history and secondary in government. He was a student-athlete on the Rowing team. Russell is an avid marathoner and has competed in five marathons, three of which he participated as part of a wheelchair duo with his childhood friend.
