Jonathan McDonald enters his fifth season as a Defensive Graduate Assistant in 2024. He works with the Cardinal defensive backs after previously assisting with the inside linebackers.
McDonald graduated from Cal-Berkeley in 2019 with a degree in multi/disciplinary studies. He played football for the Golden Bears from 2014-16.
Following graduation, he served as a financial advisor for two years before beginning his coaching career at SMU as a volunteer before to coming to The Farm.
