Ryan Bright is in his second season on The Farm as the Defensive Quality Control Analyst. He previously spent five seasons with the Wisconsin football program, serving as a defensive analyst after spending three previous seasons as a graduate assistant.

During the 2021 and 2022 seasons, Ryan was a defensive analyst for the Badgers, working with their inside linebackers. This came after two seasons as a graduate assistant on the defensive side, where he worked with the inside linebackers. His offensive experience came in his first season at Wisconsin in 2018, where he worked with the wide receivers in his graduate assistant role.

Bright joined the Badgers after spending the previous two seasons as quarterbacks coach at St. Norbert College. Prior to that, Bright spent the 2015 season as the tight ends and fullbacks coach at his alma mater, UW-La Crosse, where he earned a degree in history with a minor in economics.

A native of New Glarus, Wisconsin, he played quarterback for one season at UW-Stout before finishing his playing career as a wide receiver and tight end at UW-La Crosse.

As a senior at New Glarus High School, Bright was named Capitol Conference Offensive Player of the Year and invited to the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Star Game. He also played basketball and baseball, earning a total of 10 varsity letters during his high school career.
