STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford heads north for the first time this season and will pursue its first conference win during a three-game series against Oregon State this weekend.

The Cardinal (17-22, 0-12 Pac-12) will look to ride the momentum of a midweek victory against Santa Clara but will have its hands full with the Beavers (22-18, 4-8 Pac-12) which is coming off its first series victory in program history against then-No. 8 UCLA.

The series begins Friday at 3 p.m. (PT) and continues Saturday at 1 p.m. The teams will wrap up weekend play Sunday at noon.

Friday's game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network. Live statistics will be available for each game via GoStanford.com.

Highlights from Stanford's victory against Santa Clara.

LAST TIME OUT
• Stanford is coming off a midweek victory against Santa Clara that snapped a 12-game losing streak and extended its winning streak against the Broncos to 47 games. Bessie Noll hit a two-out RBI-double in the bottom of the sixth inning to propel the Cardinal to a 6-5 win.

• Kristina Inouye paced Stanford offensively in the game, going 2-for-3 with three RBIs and a walk. Kylie Sorenson also had a quality day at the plate, providing a clutch two-RBI single in the fourth inning to cut into an early deficit.

• Pitcher, Carolyn Lee, was excellent in 4.0 innings of relief, limiting the Broncos to one run on two hits and one walk with six strikeouts.

• Stanford went 0-3 in its most recent Pac-12 series against No. 23 Arizona State this past weekend. The Cardinal nearly broke through during Saturday's game when Whitney Burks hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to erase a 4-1 deficit. However, Stanford was unable to complete the comeback and was ultimately undone by a Sun Devils three-run homer in the top of the ninth inning.

THE OREGON STATE SERIES
• Stanford leads the all-time series against Oregon State 47-25, despite dropping all three decisions in 2016. The Cardinal is 8-10 in its past 18 games against the Beavers.
