STANFORD, Calif. - For the second time in as many nights, the eighth-ranked Stanford men's volleyball team took No. 4 Hawaii to five games, but the outcome was different, as the Rainbows came away with the victory tonight at Maples Pavilion. Game scores were 15-8, 15-11, 14-16, 11-15, 16-14.
Senior outside hitter Patrick Klein secured game four's victory with one of his match-high 34 kills on the night, one short of his career high. Klein, who missed fall training after spending the fall quarter studying abroad, also posted 10 digs for a double double in his first start of the season.
