STANFORD, Calif. - Today's game was the game to end all games. It took a sudden death overtime to get these two teams off the field, and the Cardinal emerged victorious. The winds were blowing, the power went out, but the game still went on.
Junior, Hedy Born, scored the goal to take the game into overtime. Cal and Stanford traded goals and ended the 1st overtime even once again.
Sophomore, Katharine Barnes, took the ball to goal, spun off her girl and went in for the win.
This game put Stanford in the lead in league play over archrivals, Cal and Davis.
