Men's Tennis Squad Rebounds with Rout of USC

STANFORD, Calif. - The fourth-ranked Stanford men's tennis team defeated No. 10 USC 6-1 this afternoon in Los Angeles.

The Cardinal scored the first point of the match, as the doubles tandems of K.J. Hippensteel/Ryan Wolters and Geoff Abrams/Alex Kim recorded victories over USC. Stanford then went on to take five of six singles matches.

The Cardinal's record improves to 12-2 overall, while the Trojans fall to 15-3. This match does not count toward Pac-10 standings.

Stanford will return home to play Cal this Tues., April 6. Matches will begin at Taube Family Tennis Stadium at 1:30 p.m.
