SEATTLE, Wash. - The top-ranked Stanford men's tennis team rolled past Oklahoma, 5-1, in the first round of the 1999 ITA/USTA National Team Indoor Championships. The Cardinal dropped the doubles point but proceeded to capture five matches in the singles ladder en route to their 44th straight dual match victory, a streak that dates back to 1997.
The Cardinal (5-0) will face South Carolina in a quarterfinal match at 4 p.m. PST at Washington's Nordstrom Tennis Center.
