Stanford Defeats UNLV

STANFORD, Calif. - The fifth-ranked Stanford women's tennis team swept sinlges play en route to a 7-1 victory over UNLV at a non-conference meet at the Fertitta Tennis Complex this afternoon.

Stanford improves to 15-2 overall, while the Lady Rebels have now lost 10 straight and are at 3-10.

The Cardinal did not lose a set in taking all six singles points. UNLV earned its only score with a win at the second doubles position. The third doubles match was not played.

Stanford will return to Taube Family Tennis Stadium and Pac-10 play vs. No. 6 UCLA on Fri., April 2 at 1:30 p.m.
