Women's Lacrosse Honors Seniors

STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford honored its three graduating seniors today with a explosive win against St. Mary's College (13-4). Stanford is graduating its two captains and starting goalie this spring. Goalie Stephanie Tuerk, from Annapolis, MD, will leave Stanford a two year letter winner. Midfielder, Carey Jones, from Oklahoma City, OK will leave Stanford with a running career total of 95 points with 75 goals and 20 assists. She is a four year letter winner and two year captain. Alexis Patrizio, another midfielder, from Philadelphia, PA leaves Stanford with a running total of 126 points, 83 goals and 43 assists. Alexis is a four year letter winner and three year captain. The team will sorely miss these pioneers of the program. All three have been great contributers to the game.

The win against St. Mary's college marked Stanford 9th win of the season to take their record to 9-4 overall with only one loss in the league. The win was a total team effort.

Next up: a rescheduled league game against Santa Clara University on Wednesday, April 21st and then at UCSB on Sunday, April 25th.
