STANFORD, Calif. - Sean Joy scored a career-high four goals to lead the third-ranked Stanford water polo team to a 17-8 victory over UC Davis in a non-league game on Saturday at deGuerre Pool.

Joy scored three of Stanford's seven goals in the first period. Eight different Cardinal players scored points, including freshman Peter Osborn with three points. Stanford (13-2) 7 2 5 3 = 17 UC Davis (7-16) 3 3 0 2 = 8
