Men's Crew Finishes 25th At The Head Of The Charles

PALO ALTO, Calif. - The Stanford men's crew team completed it's first race of the season on Sunday, October 24 with a 25th place finish at the Head of the Charles Regatta on the famed Charles River in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Competing in the three-mile Championship Eight Division, the Cardinal men rowed to splits of 3:35, 8:47, and 13:15 on its way to a final time of 16:08.62. Forty-six crews competed in the 35th edition of the Head of the Charles.

The Head of the Charles was Stanford's first competition since the Cardinal rowed to a tenth-place finish at the 1999 IRA Championships.
