Men's Golf Finishes 10th at Southwestern Intercollegiate

West Lake Village, Calif. - Stanford men's golf finished the Southwestern Intercollegiate in tenth place. The Cardinal shot rounds of 303-302-284 to finish with a final score of 889.

Sophomore Philip Rowe was the top finisher for the Cardinal, tied for 28th place after carding rounds of 79-70-71 for a total of 220. Freshman Ron Won finished the tournament tied for 31st with rounds of 73-75-74 for a stroke total of 222. Junior Jimmy Lee made an amazing comeback, shooting a third round of 67, 4-under par, to move from 74th place after the first day into a tie for 42nd place. Lee shot a three-round total of 225. Senior Dusty Brett finished tied for 48th place with a score of 226 and freshman George Downing tied for 64th with a stoke total of 230.

Stanford men's golf will take a month off before returning to the links to compete in the Anteater Invitational, hosted by UC Irvine on March 27-28. The Cardinal was the champion at last year's Anteater Invitational.
