Stanford Women's Gymnastics Fall to Defending Pac-10 Champions UCLA 193.725-197.8

Los Angeles, Calif. - The 9th ranked Stanford women's gymnastics team fell Sunday afternoon to the UCLA Bruins 197.8-193.725. The loss is the first dual meet loss for the Cardinal, which puts them at 4-2, 2-2 in the Pac-10.

On the vault, senior Larissa Fontaine took the only event title of the meet for Stanford with a score of 9.9, tying for first place with Bruins Heidi Moneymaker and Mohini Bhardwaj. She also turned in Stanford's top performance on the floor with a score of 9.875 and in the all around with a total of 39.000. On the bars, Sarah Harding was Stanford's top finisher with a score of 9.825. Katy Herbert turned in the Cardinal's best performance on the beam with a score of 9.775.

The Cardinal will travel to Boise, Idaho to take on Boise State on Sunday, Feb. 13 at 2 p.m.
