Men's Golf Remains Tied For 11th At NCAA Regionals

FRESNO, CALIF. - Sophomore Phillip Rowe leads the Cardinal after the second day of the NCAA Regionals. Rowe recorded rounds of 72 and 71 for a two-day total of 143 to place him tied for 34th at the Riverbend Golf Course. With a two-day total of 576, the team is tied for eleventh place with UCLA and Oregon State. Bringham Young University leads the field after posting a total of 557. The Arizona Wildcats are in hot pursuit with a score of 558.

Juniors Jimmy Lee and Eric Dahlberg are tied for 39th and 51st places after both carding second rounds of 73 each. Senior Dusty Brett improved his standings by posting a 71 on Friday ranking him tied for 63rd and junior Alex Aragon recorded the best score on the day for the Cardinal with a round of 70 to put him in a tie for 74th.

The NCAA Regionals will continue with the final round on Saturday, May 20. The Cardinal need to finish in the top-ten to advance to the next round of NCAA competition.
