Frankie Brennan Moves Up Coaching Ladder

Promoted to Full-Time Assistant for Women's Tennis

STANFORD, Calif. - Frankie Brennan, son of recently retired Frank Brennan, has been promoted from part-time to full-time assistant women's tennis coach.

Brennan has been the part-time assistant for five years (1996-2000), including NCAA titles in 1997 and 1999. Brennan will assist head coach Lele Forood in her first season after being promoted from associate head coach.

Brennan also works as an assistant pro at the Fremont Hills Country Club in Los Altos Hills. As a tennis standout at the University of Redlands, Brennan helped lead his team to the semifinals of the 1993 NCAA Div. III Championships. He was also an All- Conference selection and the MVP of the 1992 State Championship team at Foothill College. In 1991, he was named Foothill's Athlete of the Year. Brennan played football and tennis at nearby St. Francis High School.
