The Stanford women's golf team sits in eighth place overall, carding a two-day total of 594 at the GolfWorld/Palmetto Dunes Invitational in Hilton Head, S.C. Auburn and Duke are tied for the lead with a 582 after two days. Rounding out the top five are Southern California (583), Texas (583) and Tennessee (587).
Individually, Stanford Hilary Homeyer shot a one-over par 73 today to sit in 10th (71-73--144). Teammate Stephanie Keever carded a one-over par 73 as well and is tied for 15th (73-73--146). Freshman Angela Rho is tied for 40th (76-76--152) while sophomore Kim Rowton is 45th (78-75--153). Jessica Belskis is tied for 51st (83-75--158).
Tennessee's Young-A Yang leads the field individually with a 137 (69-68), followed by USC's Candie Kung (72-67--139) and Arizona's Lorena Ochoa (68-71--139). Randy Meadow's from Texas is fourth (72-69--141) followed by Auburn's Celeste Troche (73-69--142).
