Cardinal Falls to No. 6 California

Stanford (1-3) dropped its dual to California on Sunday, 211.050-197.250. The Golden Bears remain undefeated during the 2001 campaign.

Stanford captured the top-spot on the rings as sophomore Marshall Erwin claimed first place with a 9.250 while junior David Durante captured his third All-Around title with a score of 49.800. Sophomore Matt McLean finished second in the All-Around (46.500), but the Bears placed first in five of the six events to give them the victory.

Stanford returns to action on Sat., Feb. 24 as they take on Illinois at Burnham Pavilion at 7 p.m.
