Philadelphia, PA - The Cardinal fell to Harvard 14-13 in overtime
today on the campus of St. Joseph's University. This game concluded Stanford's
three-game Spring Break road trip, which began with an impressive 11-6 victory
over Lafayette. The team's record is now 8-3 Overall and 3-0 in the Western
Women's Lacrosse League.
Stanford returns to The Farm next week to resume WWLL play, with a match at home
against the California Golden Bears on Saturday, April 7 at 1pm (PT). The two
weeks following the California game they will take on WWLL rivals UC Davis on
April 14 at 1pm (PT) and St. Mary's on April 19 at 4pm (PT). To open the 2001
season, the Cardinal defeated the Golden Bears 7-4 at California.
