Stanford, Calif. - Stanford Athletics has adopted an official online auction with partner, FANSonly, on gostanford.com.
The Official Auction Site will offer tickets to elite games, once in a lifetime memorabilia and experiences that will last forever. Some of the items that are available in the Auction this week include the opportunity for your child (age 8-16) to be a "Ball Kid" for the Stanford Football team. There will also be a package auctioned that includes 50-yard-line tickets and meeting a former Cardinal player.
"We are looking forward to continuing our history of online auctions with Stanford Athletics and our new partners, FANSonly. We have been pioneers in online auctions and feel that it's a wonderful way to relate to the fan base and raise funds," said Bob Carruesco, Assistant Athletic Director or Marketing and Ticket Sales at Stanford University.
"More than 20 of our partner universities have taken advantage of FANSonly's online auction product," says Mike Carlton, Marketing Manager of FANSonly Network. "Online auctions provide an exclusive venue for the athletic department to offer school-related memorabilia, merchandise, game packages and trips to its fan base."
The initial auctions are being launched August 24, with new auctions being updated regularly. The items will include packages for Stanford Football, Women's Volleyball, Men's & Women's Soccer, Men's & Women's Basketball and Baseball. For details on the auctions visit gostanford.com.
