Louisville, Kent. - Susan Sattazahn and Joanie Frame each scored to lift Louisville (2-1) to a 2-0 victory over Stanford (2-4) in an NCAA field hockey game on Thursday at Trager Stadium. The victory was the second in a row for Louisville, while Stanford has dropped a pair of games to open its current seven-game road trip.
Sattazahan tallied with 26:52 remaining in the first half on an assist by Danielle Barr for the game's first score. Frame's insurance goal came with 21:59 to go in the second half.
Stanford's Rebecca Shapiro collected a game-high eight saves in the contest.
Stanford will continue its road trip with a visit to Indiana on Friday (3:30 p.m., ET).
