Stanford Head Coach Mike Montgomery:
ON TONIGHT'S PERFORMANCE:
"I think we shot the ball tonight better than we had done all season. Casey (Jacobsen) looked like the Casey of old and played real well tonight. Our guys rebounded well despite their zone defense, and I think that took a lot of steam out of their defense. I am surprised they stayed in their zone for as long as they did. Everyone got to play tonight and everyone got into the scorebook and when that happens, that's good for our offense.

DISCUSSING THE TEAM'S UP COMING SCHEDULE:
"Tonight was fun and it was a nice win because it gave everyone a chance to get in the game and get some confidence for our games this weekend. We're trying to get these guys to play hard and tonight was a great start."

ON THE PLAY OF CENTER CURTIS BORCHARDT:
"He's just a great shooter. I think when we recruited him he was 185 lbs. and a finesse player, but now he's bigger and can do some different things inside. Curtis has become a very skilled player and a great addition to our basketball team."
