Eugene, Ore. --Stanford claimed ninth place at the Pac-10 Championships, hosted by Oregon. Sophomore Brad Selby went 3-1 to capture his 10th victory of the season, good for fifth place at 285 pounds. After a rough start in Session I, Stanford bounced back with three wrestlers making it to the fifth place bout. Levi Weikel-Magden and Harold Penson both walked away with sixth place in their weight class, while Selby defeated Portland State's Joe Johnson for fifth.
Stanford had a challenging season, losing two NCAA competitors and four Pac-10 place winners. The Cardinal finishes its season 4-9 overall, 0-6 in the Pac-10.
