Stanford will play Texas in the NCAA Regional championship game on Sunday at 1 p.m. If Stanford wins the first game, a second championship game will follow approximately 50 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.Stanford will be attempting to win its third straight Regional and its 11th overall.This was Stanford's first postseason shutout since the Cardinal defeated Southern California, 1-0, on June4, 1999.Marist's 33 victories ties the school's record for most wins in a season - they also tallied 33 wins in2000.Starting pitcher Tim Cunningham pitched the longest game of his career with 8.0 innings. He shares the recordwith current Assistant coach Mark Barron who set the mark in 1997 during the Red Foxes' first NCAA year.Pitcher Ryan Kondratowicz made his first start since May 5, 2001 against MAAC conference rival Siena.Kondratowicz, in his second NCAA start, previously tossed 7.0 innings with 10 hits, six runs one walk andthree strikeouts in a 7-8 extra innings loss to No. 1 seed East Carolina in Game 5 of the Lafayette, LAregional in 2000.Pitcher Kevin Ool has logged the most innings on the mound of any Red Fox pitcher in the NCAA Tournament todate. He has tossed 11.1 innings - the next closest is Ken Catino, who is out with a shoulder injury, with 8.0innings from one game against McNeese State in 1997.
