Women's Tennis Rolls Over Pacific

STANFORD, Calif. - The top-ranked Stanford University women's tennis team extended its winning streak to 32 matches with a 7-0 shutout over visiting Pacific (1-1) on Thursday afternoon at the Taube Tennis Center.

The Cardinal dominated the unranked Tigers, losing just six games in the three doubles matches and 18 games in the six singles contests.

Stanford lost just a total of five games in No. 3-6 singles, highlighted by sophomore Emilia Anderson's 6-0, 6-0 win over Jaimee Bremner at No. 5.

The Cardinal resumes non-conference action on Saturday at noon when it visits No. 24 Pepperdine (1-2) in Malibu.
