Stanford - Alan Glenn today was named Assistant Athletics Director for Human Resources at Stanford University, Athletic Director Ted Leland announced.
Glenn has been the Director of Human Resources in the Stanford Athletics Department since 2000. He received an A.B. in Mathematical Economics from Brown University in 1979 and a Masters in Business Administration from Stanford in 1988.
In his present capacity at Stanford, Glenn oversees all human resources needs in an Athletics Department of over 600 employees. Prior to coming to Stanford, Glenn was the Principal and Founder of ANSUN Advisory Services in San Francisco from 1995-2000. He was a Vice President, Syndications Group, for BA Securities, Inc./Bank of America, NT&SA in San Francisco.
