TEMPE, Ari. - No. 3 Stanford women's tennis (11-1) hung on to claim a 5-2 dual match win over No. 9 Arizona State on Friday afternoon in Tempe, Ari. The Sun Devils drop to 6-2 with the loss.
In doubles play today, the Sun Devils were successful in gaining the point with Adria Engel and Dora Krustulovic defeated Lauren Kalvaria and Gabriela Lastra 8-4 and Joslynn Burkett and Cindy Sureephong defeated Keiko Tokuda and Story Tweedie-Yates 8-4.
However, the Cardinal would rally and notch five singles wins to secure the match.
Stanford will square off against Arizona on Saturday at 12 p.m.
