Redwood Shores, CA - The Lightweight Women's crew continued to shine in their inaugural year. The team handily defeated the St Mary's Gaels by a substantial margin. Head Coach Al Acosta noted: "I was pleased with their performance today. We changed the lineup to gain some speed and we were encouraged by the results. Racing into a headwind for a novice team is challenging. They handled it quite well."
The Cardinal Lightweight Crew next races at Redwood Shores against the Cal Second Novice Openweight Eight on May 4th.
