Four Cardinal Picked Up As Free Agents In WNBA

Stanford, Calif. - Four former Stanford women's basketball players will be joining various WNBA teams on April 29 when training camp begins as allocated free agents. Bethany Donaphin and Enjoli Izidor were members of last year's squad that went an impressive 32-3 overall record, including a perfect 18-0 mark in Pacific-10 Conference play. Donaphin will report to the New York Liberty and Izidor to the Cleveland Rockers.

Naomi Mulitauaopele was a member of Stanford's 1995, 1996 and 1997 Final Four teams and was picked up by the Orlando Miracle. During her tenure at Stanford, Mulitauaopele led the team in field goal percentage in 1995 and 1996 and blocked shots in 1995 and1997. Carolyn Moos will report to the Washington Mystics for training camp after earning All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention accolades in 2000.
