CAL STATE FULLERTON

In 24 NCAA Tournament appearances, the Titans have never gone winless. CSU-Fullerton?s David Fischer extended his hitting streak to 13 games and moved into a three-way tie for the team home run lead with five. Jordan DeJong pitched his second complete game of the year, the other was March 3rd against USC. Jason Corapci, who was hit by a pitch last night, was diagnosed with a minor concussion and will not play for the remainder of the weekend. Shane Costa was hit by a pitch for the 26th time this season, he is now tied for 11th place on the NCAA all-time single season list.

SAN JOSE STATE
The Spartans marked a school record with 45 victories this season, its most since the team won 43 games in 1990. This appearance marked the second postseason berth in the last three years for the Spartans. The team set eight school records this season. San Jose State is now 7-10 all-time in post season play.
