Hanover, NH - The top-ranked and unbeaten Stanford men's soccer team upped its season record to 7-0 with a 2-0 victory over Dartmouth on Sunday at the Dartmouth Invitational.

Five of Stanford's seven victories have been shutouts.

Johanes Maliza scored his second goal in as many days as he fired a shot from 18 yards away past the Dartmouth goalkeeper at 51:36 of the second half. Maliza has now scored five goals on the season.

In the 87th minute, Darren Fernandez scored his second goal of the season to give Stanford a 2-0 lead. Roger Levesque assisted on the goal, his tenth of the season.

Andrew Terris recorded his first shutout of the season. Terris collected six saves.

Levesque was named the tournament offensive MVP with three assists and two goals in the two-day tournament. Taylor Graham was named tournament defensive MVP as he helped Stanford to two shutout victories.

Stanford returns to Harry Maloney Field on Friday-Sunday (Sept. 27-29) to host the Stanford Nike Invitational. The Cardinal will host Tulsa on Friday at 7:30 p.m., and then Santa Clara on Sunday (9/29) at 2:30 p.m.
