Boston, MA - The Stanford Women's Crew finished third collegiately and fifth overall at the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta. Starting in the 12th position of 46 crews the Cardinal passed University of Texas and Syracuse who started in the 10th and 11th spots. The crew was in 7th place until they got around the two boats in the last mile and then moved to a third place collegiate finish. The boat representing the United States won the overall event with Yale and Princeton the first and second collegiate crews. Go to www.hocr.org for complete results.
