Tacoma, Wash. - The Stanford women's golf team shot a 304 today in the second round of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational to move into seventh place on the leaderboard with a two-day total of 611. Rounding out the top five are Southern California (593), Washington (600), Pepperdine (600), California (602) and UCLA (604).
The tournament is being contested at the Tacoma Golf and Country Club in Tacoma, Washington.
The Cardinal are led by senior Kim Rowton who is tied for seventh individually with a one-over par 147 (76-71). Freshman Kelly Husted is tied for 23rd with a 153 (76-77) while teammate Angela Rho is tied for 26th after carding a 154 (76-78). Sophomore Wendra Liang is tied for 34th with a 157 (79-78) and junior Kim Kouwabunpat turned in a 161 (82-79) and is tied for 48th.
USC's Becky Lucidi holds the top spot on the leaderboard at four-under par 142. Pepperdine's Katherine Hull is one stroke back at 143.
The final round of play will start at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
